Benny Dixon Bradshaw, born to William Thomas and Lema Ora Dixon Bradshaw on September 13, 1936, in Piggott, AR, passed away on February 13, 2024, in Bernie, MO, at the age of 87 years.

On January 20, 1961, Benny Bradshaw was united in marriage to Betty Lynn Causey in Campbell, MO. He cherished their union until her passing on August 30, 2019. Benny was a devoted member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church in Malden, MO, and was actively involved in various organizations, including the Four Mile Masonic Lodge #212 in Campbell, MO, and the Lions Club of Malden. He was known for his deep commitment to serving his community, participating in numerous boards and committees.

Benny Bradshaw’s adventurous spirit led him to travel extensively, exploring different countries with the U.S. Exchange Group. His passion for travel stemmed from his service as a United States Army Veteran, during which he served as part of the Army Mortuary Civilian Service in Vietnam.

Many in the community recognize Benny Bradshaw as the co-founder and co-owner of Bradshaw Funeral Homes, a testament to his dedication to serving families during their most difficult times.

Benny Dixon Bradshaw is survived by his son Norman Bradshaw (Vicki) of Van Buren, MO; daughter Sheila Hollingshad (Jim) of Malden; grandchildren April Casselberry, Brady Bradshaw, Jimmy Hollingshad, and Brice Earnheart; great-grandchildren Chase Williams, Camden Earnheart, Willow Bradshaw, Presley Bradshaw, Ally Stout, Harley Hollingshad, Alaska Earnheart, and Aspen Earnheart; sister Bonnie Gunter-Allen of Little Rock, AR; aunt Bobbie Overall of Sarah, MS; several nieces and nephews; Godson James Hawkins (Jennifer) and Maverick of Burleson, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, and his brother William “Bill” Bradshaw.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel, with Reverend James Hamlett officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, MO.
